How to make an appointment with MarinHealth
Hospital-based care and outpatient office appointments use different scheduling routes.
Doctors at MarinHealth Medical Center
Hospital-based physicians do not always operate like outpatient doctors with fixed public Monday-through-Friday appointment schedules.
MarinHealth’s provider directory includes physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and other clinicians across many specialties. The examples below are providers whose current official profiles specifically list MarinHealth Medical Center.
| Provider | Specialty | Hospital role / location | Availability pattern |
|---|---|---|---|
| Susan Sun, MD | Hospitalist, Internal Medicine | MarinHealth Medical Center, 250 Bon Air Road | Hospitalist; cares for admitted patients rather than operating a standard public clinic schedule. |

Doctor fees, hospital charges and Emergency Room costs
MarinHealth does not publish one flat consultation fee or one fixed ER price that applies to every patient.
Written hospital estimate
MarinHealth’s billing information says patients can request a written estimate of their financial responsibility for hospital services. For estimate questions, contact the Admitting Department at 415-925-7243.
The hospital specifically warns that a written estimate is not a guaranteed fixed final price. Additional physician, anesthesia, pathology, radiology, ambulance or other professional charges may be billed separately.
Anesthesia billing
MarinHealth explains that the anesthesiologist bills separately for professional services. The hospital also bills for hospital equipment, supplies, staff, medications and other resources used to provide anesthesia.

Hospital / visitor parking
Follow current signs for patient and visitor parking rather than entering the staff-parking area shown on the campus map.
