Helen DeVos Children’s doctor fees, ER cost and case charges
Corewell Health does not publish one fixed consultation price or one flat pediatric ER price that applies to every patient.
Why the ER bill varies
The amount can depend on:

- Emergency physician professional care.
- Laboratory testing.
- X-ray, CT, MRI or ultrasound.
- Medication and supplies.
- Procedures.
- Specialist consultations.
- Sedation or anesthesia.
- Observation.
- Hospital or intensive-care admission.
Corewell states that emergency charges reflect the complexity and severity of care and the services used, not simply how many hours a patient spends in the Emergency Department.
Doctor appointment fees
A new pediatric cardiology consultation, oncology follow-up, neurology appointment, developmental evaluation and surgery consultation can all use different billing codes. Your family may also have different copay, deductible and coinsurance rules.
Price estimate line
Current phone hours are Monday–Friday, approximately 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
