Southwest General’s current provider directory contains roughly 300 physicians and medical providers. The table below focuses on doctors whose current profiles list practices on or immediately around the Main Campus.

Doctor days and times: Southwest General publishes physician names, specialties, office locations and phone numbers, but it does not publish one dependable hospital-wide Monday-through-Sunday rota for every doctor. Individual office schedules change. Call the doctor’s office and ask for the clinician’s current working days and next appointment rather than assuming the hospital’s hours are the doctor’s hours.

ER patient drop-off and parking help

If you need to drop off a patient and accompany them into the Main Campus ER, the hospital’s Police Department provides assistance at the Emergency entrance. Protection Services Officers can move the vehicle to the ER lot or an adjacent visitor parking lot.

This ER drop-off parking assistance is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Emergency cost: Southwest General does not publish one flat “ER visit fee” that accurately represents every emergency visit. Emergency cost depends on the level of evaluation, testing, imaging, medications, procedures, physician services, insurance and whether admission is required. Use the hospital’s estimator or call Financial Clearance at 440-816-4701 for scheduled/non-emergency estimates.

Southwest General fees, flat-rate programs and hospital prices

Southwest General publishes several useful flat-rate programs in addition to its full hospital price-transparency file and patient estimator.

Some clinicians are employed by Southwest General Medical Group while others are independent medical-staff physicians.

For an accurate estimate, ask the physician office for its professional charge and ask whether a separate hospital facility fee applies. For hospital services, Financial Clearance can calculate an individualized estimate at 440-816-4701, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..
